Latvian beatmaker PRGMAT drops the first chapter of his instrumental tape titled “RIGAMENTALS: TEST PRESSING CHAPTER ONE”. The 31 track instrumental project is a fusion of cinematic, somewhat obscure samples fashioned against boom-bap styled compositions.

Beattape has made in classic urban hiphop sounding manner, with a emphasis on thick, hard-hitting, sub bass fulled and neck breaking drums. In beattape repeatedly can hear the author deliberately worsened the audio track quality, creating a dirty, low frequency and vinyl crackle accompanying sound.

“RIGAMENTALS” feeds listener with a 31 atmospheric, sample based loop and drum overdose composition, created in few recent months, at his hometown Riga. Tape, stuffed with hiphop and soul music essences, will lead a soulful walk through the 90’s Brooklyn neighborhoods, Avotu street in Riga, abandoned islands, dirty basements, Shaolin temples and vinyl thrift shops.
