Rapper Last Van Gxgh makes his way on our site with a reflective and heartwarming cut titled “Rocket Ship.” The gruff-voiced emcee who started his rap career under a different moniker has found a new lane after taking time off to develop and find himself away from the industry rep-tape and politics.
“Rocket Ship” feels like a semi-autobiography of some sort as we get to understand who the man is and what makes him tick. Over a laidback, somber jazzy backdrop, he shares his personal story of failures and depression and how he found a way out and is now fully focused on the positive.
