Yesterday we got the second glimpse of a Kendrick+Dre collab since “The Recipe” earlier this year..this time they come through with “Compton” produced by Just Blaze, off Kendrick’s upcoming album “Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City“. At this time, everyone and their mother has already posted the track. But we had to post this goodness anyway…as I truly believe Dr. Dre is back in full form. I haven’t seen him this excited about an act, since Eminem. And if you have been following Dre’s carrer he needs a young protegee in order to produce his best work… D.O.C, Snoop Doog, Eminem are all clear examples of this.

Funny enough, we’ve been following Kendrick from the get go, and are HUGE fans…but on this track he does sound off for some reason. His flow doesn’t quite hit, and the back and forth between Dre and Kendrick, don’t quite gel, as I would have expected…was expecting something like Em & Dre back on Eminem first release under Aftermath.

But then again this might be just something rough, to satiate fans needs.
