Atlanta based emcee KeepitSwain teams up with west coast emcee Blu for this bouncy feel-good single titled “Deep Down.”
While the bright hopeful mood of the track gets one going, the duo of emcee takes time to vent and show how they circumvent all the drama swirling around them. It’s highly relatable and everyone can easily rock to it as well.
Born a military brat, KeepitSwain moved yearly before finding a home in the South. As he got older, he began to balance out school and life stresses through songwriting & poetry. This started Swain along his musical path, as he began to rap, sing and engineer his own songs in college. While in Gainesville, Florida he joined with independent label Late Night Early Morning and continues to release music with them today. Currently residing in Atlanta, KeepitSwain’s music combines lyrical content and effortless wordplay with a range of southern twang drum breaks and groovy synth-heavy beats.
