South London-born singer-songwriter JGrrey goes for the jugular in her new release “bedbug.” The track finds the singer embodying her hip-hop persona to the fullest as she flows elegantly over the dark and brooding production by longtime collaborator Produced by Maths Time Joy. JGrrey delivers a laidback rap verse filled with vivid imagery, wordplay and not-so-subtle shots to the perpetrators in the game. Not the type to have all the fun to herself, she calls in Brooklyn rapper Erick the Architect for a verbal assist, but for sure, JGrrey really bodies the track.
The track is a follow-up to her previous release “you, me and jen” and highlights the singer’s versatility.
