West Coast emcee Jaykin closes 2020 out with his new project E.T.S. Vol. 1. The 8 track body of work sees him teaming up with fellow LA-based producer K. Fisha who produced it all.
The project opens up with the soulful “Kinfolk Radio” which sets the mood right with its nostalgic and chilled vibe as Jaykin invites us into his perfect summer. “Still the same” has a moody and reflective feel that fits Jaykin’s confident flow and somewhat insightful lyrics. The journey doesn’t end there and tracks like the bouncy “Tokyo Funk” and synth-driven “Longevity” showcase Jaykin’s knack for penning retro-tinged pieces that strike the ears.
The project closes with the retro R&B tinged “Up & Down” which dives into self-growth and heartfelt lyrics dedicated to the go-getters of this world.
