Genre-bending duo Jarv Dee and Bad Colours have teamed up with the legendary Shabazz Palaces for this upbeat house-infused cut titled “Clouds.” The record produced by Bad Colours takes elements from house music and hip-hop and flips it into something refreshing and new. Jarv Dee is more than comfortable and easily floats over the Bass synth-heavy backdrop with his bravado style. Ishmael Butler of Shabazz Palaces is not far behind and delivers his verse with the calm of a true OG that he is.

The video is quite expressive and somewhat experimental as well. It makes use of several visual effects but still keeps the raw vibe of the 90s house music videos. We can all agree that the mantra here is less is more.

“Clouds” is taken from Jarv Dee and Bad Colours forthcoming BlakHouse EP.
