J The Exodus Switches To Beast Mode In New Video
UK emcee J The Exodus just dropped this hard hitting joint titled “Beast Mode‘. The song sees J The Exodus crafting a very vivid imagery of his progression in the rap game using boxing and other combat sport analogies. The visuals directed by Global Faction throws J The Exodus in the mix of things such as sparring, training sessions while he kicks anthemic bars like…
“…Roll with the punches, getting dem crunches/ Place me in the pantheon
Of middle weight greats, man I can’t wait to be a world champion
Like Ali or like Jones, Tyson or like Holmes,
Joe Louis or Lennox Lewis the king on the heavyweight throne”
The song serves as the lead single off J The Exodus’s second EP called “Heart’s Desire” which is set to drop on the 31st of this month
The single was produced by Telemachus (Klashnekoff, Roc Marciano, Verb T), while the visuals were directed by Global Faction (Akala, Lowkey, Suli Breaks). The record itself is a strong showing from J The Exodus, of his clever wordplay, passionate lyricism and confident rap flow, with a powerful message of motivation and determination for 2017.
