M.A.D. Smooth are producers/artists from Florida and New Jersey, consisting of lifetime friends Michael Montes and Darryl Fernandez. Together they’ve been making music since 2013 and have no intentions of slowing down anytime soon. Their sound is influenced by the likes of Just Blaze, Max Martin, Roy Ayers, Gamble & Huff, Kanye West, and a bit of The Neptunes but incorporates a high level of unique artistry and a deep creative vision which keeps it far from imitation’s shade. This track right here that we get to sample is a mixture of soulful guitars and a saxophone duet before transitioning into a rhythmic beat accompanied by rich horns, vibraphones, and a playful flute in this Jazz/Hip-Hop fusion. It makes me really curious why the track is named Shay or maybe a Shay inspired this creation. M.A.D. Smooth Productions demand to be taken seriously by any artist or company in need of outstanding original sounds and their material is pretty smooth too. Relax as this serene instrumental eases your mind, body and soul. My bias but instrumentals is very evident on this.
