Emerging UK artist IThinkThatsRio shares the visuals for his debut single “Afro” which showcases the London native’s smooth melodic style and insightful lyrics. Over a moody and sparse trap backdrop, he delivers a sublime performance ripe with enthralling melodies and a unique off-beat cadence. The record explores the fundamental rights to do what you feel in all situations, whether it’s your career or hair. He seeks to break societal restraints that try to put down individuals for following their heart with this cathcy and insightful track.

For the accompanying music video, IThinkThatsAfro collaborated with burgeoning London-based visual director and photographer EazyVisuals (EbenezerB YoungRyan De La CruzMichael Ward) to bring the infectious track further to life.

Originally from Chadwell Heath in East London, IThinkThatsRio has always had a passion for music, but he has been on course to become a professional footballer for a good few years, but after turning 20 last year and realizing that music had the power to help him express his feelings, and how that made him feel, he began taking music seriously, and quickly charted a new course from a footballer to a musician.
