South Korean producer Fredi Casso debuts on our site with three singles “Yūyami,” “Crispicream” and “Bounce, btch.”
“Yūyami” is a sullen and reflective piece comprising retro synth-wave elements with soulful lofi aesthetics. The song title is a poetic Japanese term for “sunset” and the proof is in the listening.
The track “Crispicream” starts with a vocal sample from Shaq before switching into a rousing beat comprising soulful chops with layered vocal snippets. It is reminiscent of tracks MF DOOM would rap on.

The final track “Bounce, btch” is a playful tune that flips the classic Kool and the Gang song that music lovers would recognize (Listen to those horns). Fredi Casso chops it nicely and splices it with several vocal chops and soulful samples and the result is a complex and soul-stirring track.
