West Australian hip hop trio of Figuero Jones, Black Napoleon and ErikiBeatz (K9INES) have teamed up for a 9 track project ‘Gully SZN’. The entire project was produced by K9INES who laces the crew with a hard-hitting and progressive sound that accentuates the trio’s fiery performance and smooth lyricism. Although it’s short the project sure has a wide variety of sounds to pick from. Joints like the banging “B2B” shows a more fun-filled and wavy style that keeps the head nodding while “Juggathon” has a more experimental style. ‘Gully SZN’ hopes to shake up and offer something new not only to the growing and emerging Australian hip hop landscape but also to the global hip hop market.
