Moka & Chief
Peace every one, well last Friday (11/11/11) we popped by and checked out the London date for Moka Only and Chief’s European tour for their new album ‘Crickets’,hosted by the good people from the Doctor’s Order’s. As ever with keen bloggers like ourselves we arrived super early to soak up the atmosphere. Chris P cuts and Bruce Wayne were on the ones and two’s getting the audience ready and after a while handed over to fellow resident and man about town SpinDoctor to DJ and really get the crowd hyped (he killed it!). Then around 1am Moka Only and chief started their set performing music from the new album as well as other tracks. The crowd was live and the guys did what they do with maximum precision despite having had a minimal amount of sleep in the run up to the show. Mr Thing (Scratch Perverts) saw the night out with a wicked set. Props to all involved who made us feel so welcome!
Also in the near future be on the look out for an interview we did with the duo… So don’t sleep!
