South London raised singer Elisa Imperilee is an emerging vocalist who is slowly building her status as one of the freshest acts out of London. Coming off the heels of her previous release “Carefree,” she returns to the forefront with the visuals for her new single  “Water” which sees her working with her longtime collaborator  Srigala. The song dives into the delicate issue of self-healing by way of confronting one’s inner demons. Bolstered by Srigala’s atmospheric texture and sparse drum arrangements, Imperilee  takes us deep into her world as she faces her fears. She delivers quite a stunning performance with alluring melodic runs and ear gripping harmonies that linger on even after you stopped the song.

“Water,” which serves as her first video is directed by ALMASS BADAT who makes use of cinematic aesthetics to capture the singer’s progression and emotions. From the allusions of isolation and loneliness to the deep introspection that follows, BADAT really places the viewer in the mix of the theme of the song.

The track is self-released with the support of the HELP MUSICIANS DO IT DIFFERENTLY AWARD and follows Elisa’s most recent release with MANIK MC as part of THE SILHOUETTES PROJECT.
