Toronto-based multi-faceted artist Ekelle comes through with the visual for her new song “Come Back” with its accompanying visual. Over a soulful and mellow backdrop, she delivers a heartfelt and insightful driven performance. As a rapper, she can hold her own, and armed with her confident demeanor she brings that classic hip-hop vibe to the forefront and implores listeners to keep the faith and seek fruitful relationships in order to forge ahead. She also performs the chorus with a soulful melodic hook and is joined by fellow emcee Gee Wunder who adds his own insight into the mix.

The visual for “Come Back” has a summer and warm aesthetic. It blends a plethora of seamless performance shots of Ekelle and Gee Wunder in different spots.

Ekelle is a multi-genre artist and songwriter from Toronto. Ekelle rhymes about what she knows best: her real life experience! Money, sex, drama and identity stir together to create a style that she calls Hood Pop – Popular music with a street edge. Hood Pop combines elements of hip hop, pop music and R&B. Ekelle first knew she wanted into the industry when she was a little girl who could not be torn away from watching “Hit List” on YTV every Saturday. Growing up in the 90’s she fell in love with the sounds of TLC, Destiny’s Child, Britney Spears, Puff Daddy, Eminem, NWA and many more acts. At the beginning stages of her career she thought she just had to pick one genre to work with which was hard for her because so many different styles gave her inspiration.
