De La Soul Hid ‘Smell The Da.I.S.Y’ Vinyl Across The World!

The following terms and conditions are going to play out like an easter egg hunt!

De La Soul has hidden in various stores across the planet 100 copies of Smell The Da.I.S.Y. on vinyl. The difference is that the vinyl is all instrumentals. There will be 12 beats on there, which include all 11 from the mixtape, and one exclusive J Dilla beat you haven’t heard before. The vinyl cover will resemble the actual beat tape that Dilla passed out to folks like Talib Kweli, Mos Def, ATCQ, Busta Rhymes, Common, The Roots, as well as De La Soul themselves.

So, to show you how heavy of a digger Dilla was (just like many hardcore DJs), De La suggest that you find the record yourself. They aren’t releasing the location and the names of the record stores (especially since Record Store Day is tomorrow), BUT if you want to get some clues on the location of this limited edition vinyl, go to their site and get to digging IMMEDIATELY!
