Dave New York sat down with The Bee Shine and talks about how Dilla heard Ghostface Killah‘s ‘Whip You With A Strap’, (which is called ‘One For Ghost’ on Dilla’s Donuts album) even though the album Fishcale came out after Dilla’s untimely passing. Considering that he’s a Wu fan, J Dilla let Dave listen to it and he was bugging out. What even made the situation even more surreal for Ghostface was when he was on the phone with Ma Dukes confirming that she & Dilla listened to the track and loved it, and how happy he was when Ghostface heard the news.
