Bronx, Yonkers rapper Damon Xavier makes his entry on our site with a heartfelt and reflective record titled “Back 2 Normal.” The somber record sees the rapper dwelling on the domino effects of Covid-19 on the lives of millions amongst other issues ranging from political unrest and police brutality.

The track is ripe with a nostalgic and moody texture that adds some sort of urgency to Xavier’s flows and vivid lyrics. It’s quite vivid and insightful from start to finish. It was inspired by a seemingly collective desire to “get back to normal.” It questions whether “getting back to normal” is an appropriate desire in the first place. “Back 2 Normal” marks Damon Xavier’s return to music after a hiatus.

Damon Xavier is a rapper from The Bronx and Yonkers, New York. Damon began writing songs in high school but decided to take music seriously after graduating from Columbia University.
