“Marni For My Mistress” is a lyric dense track from emerging NYC artist Dubziano who makes good use of a punchy and somewhat moody soundscape to paint his off-kilter lyrics. His voice is gritty and commanding but its his lyrics that take the cake. Lines like “My Initials in the bed,opposition I’m beheading/ she rock brand new Gucci leggings, pussy got the chunky ??” show how he weaves scenarios with ease while the chorus is somewhat memorable. As the title suggests, the record is just him splurging on his main chick (his hustle) while keeping the side piece (less important matters) at bay.
