London based rapper Benjamin A.D (aka B.A.D) shares the video for his new single titled “When It Don’t Make Sense”. The reflective track was produced by WAVSDNTDIE who crafts the perfect somber texture for B.A.D’s self-analyzing lyrics. The rapper details the bad influences that surround him and how that ultimately affects his choices. Delivering his lines with such passion and emotion, the listener is slowly drawn into B.A.D’s conflicted world where we can feel his pain as he struggles with the situation.

Directed by Xavier Damase, credited for his artistic work with J Hus and Koffee, the accompanying video follows B.A.D at a house party drinking and smoking with friends and a love interest before being driven through the city streets back home. The video has a retro home video feel as  the images blur in line with his lyrics; “I ain’t tryna be saved, I’m just trying to switch off, I’m just tryna get lost.” highlighting the disconnect between Benjamin as he moves autonomously with the flow of his environment and the world spins in vivid technicolor.
