We head to Dayton, Ohio, the stomping grounds of rising rapper/songwriter and label owner who goes by the moniker Champagne937. Before getting into music, he traversed the world of college football as a Quarterback but his love for music was stronger than gravity and soon enough he was in the studio cooking his debut EP Free Throws Vol 1. This set the ball rolling for the rising star as he secured several interviews and even a collaboration with legendary Miami rapper Trina. Now he returns with the visuals for his song “See You Again”, a hard-hitting jam that explores his journey and the ups and downs of trying to reach his goals in life. The slick production has a reflective aesthetic that fits Champagne937’s fast-paced flow and unfiltered vivid raps like “Whatever it takes, I gotta go get it / Took off on the jet and I never looked back.”
The accompanying video was directed by Suresh Gordon, who uses many shots of the city with Champagne937 as the focus. Blending fast cuts with performance shots and smooth engaging cinematography, the director throws viewers right in the mix of the action.
Champagne937 is the CEO and co-founder of the innovative brand and record label, Jetway Records – an acronym for “Just Enjoy The Way”.
