Singer/rapper/songwriter Ceeow and The GreensKeepers band team up for this soulful tune titled “Sip from a Rose”. The jazz-infused track also takes elements from R&B mixed with a dash of hip-hop as Ceeow delivers a laidback melodic performance ripe with evocative lyrics. The backdrop is quite dynamic and has a live feel with its solemn piano progression, soft drums, and ethereal strings.
“Sip from a Rose” is recorded under Gilles Peterson’s FutureBubblers program.
Ceeow is a Manchester-based, Birmingham-raised artist who started his career with the collective A Broken Camarilla, and with more than a handful of live shows with bands, he has racked up more than 10,000hours perfecting his craft. His debut ep SOFAR EP dropped in 2019.
