“Not The One” is an Electronic/soul collaboration that sees UK producer Calper teaming up with frequent collaborator Kori and emerging vocalist Tara Carosielli. The record is made up of sublime pads, lush guitar plucks with smooth drum grooves all underpinned by Tara’s sultry vocals that are as hypnotic as a mantra. The track dwells on making the hard decisions within a fledgling relationship where one party is just not showing that much-needed love and the time came when both must depart at the crossroads. Tara adds that the song “is about facing hard truths. Sometimes people won’t love you like how you love them, and there’s nothing you can do about it.”
