Born I‘s latest visual offering “Unenlightened” is a cinematic piece that explores the concept of overcoming inner demons with will and determination. Over a moody trap backdrop, Born I deliver a fast-paced delivery ripe with insightful lyrical imagery that grips the listeners and offers something refreshing and enlightening at the same time. The visual was directed by Roy Lesh and shot/edited by Tim Shelby who help bring Born I’s vision to life. Taking inspiration and elements from the classic manga and film series “Lone Wolf and Cub” and the story of Yasuke, the African Samurai, we get to see Born I playing the titular character on a spiritual and physical journey with his son. Both travel through the wilds to train themselves and overcoming ills such as greed, hatred, delusion who appear as masked enemies wanting to destroy both father and son.

The visual also features Born I’s real son Siddhattha who plays the cub and his wife Ayanna who is the Goddess of wisdom.
