Legendary Midwest rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony continues the trend of established hip-hop acts stepping out to show they still got it. With Mass Appeal putting out projects from legendary rappers, LL Cool J still rocking it, and Will Smith putting out music, it’s quite interesting to hear what Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has in store for their fans. The new release “Aww Shit” pairs the groups melodic rapid fire flows with modern hip-hop sounds and the result is tailor made for today’s audience. The production is bouncy and upbeat, and comprises lush bass synths and a moody piano riff reminiscent of that classic dark Bone Thugs sound. As expected, the crew come out swinging with their verbal bats and clubs. Hearing all five members back at it is always a pleasure and by the end of it, you will be saying “Aww Shit.”
