Rapper/social activist Blak-Ram continues to shed light on the ongoing conflict in the Sudan region. In his latest entry, “Blood Gold,” he talks about the role the UAE plays in Sudan, in propping up support for the Rapid Support Force in the form of weapons that are being used to terrorize the ordinary citizens. Blak-Ram doesn’t hold back his thoughts and details how gold from the region is being traded for weapons and the ripple-down effect it has on the unarmed masses.

Over a cinematic soundscape and lines like “Robbing and mobbing/Its costing them their reputation/Through predation of our gold reserves/That they don’t deserve!/spread the word since the message is blurred/And when you do your shopping/Man! It gets on my nerves,” Blak-Ram hopes to give the situation the awareness that it deserves.
