North London based performing songwriter and producer Belle has an upcoming project uniting 23 global female artists on a groundbreaking compilation album.  Released through Jus Like Music Records and Amnesty International, the project is to raise awareness for their “Stop Violence Against Women” campaign.

“The staggering 23-track compilation features creations from; Ursula Rucker (The Roots / 4hero), Shuanise (TOKiMONSTA / fLako), Heidi Vogel (Cinematic Orchestra / Mark de Clive-Lowe), Vula (Basement Jaxx / Ty / Cee-Lo Green), Ahu (Flying Lotus), Yarah Bravo (One Self / kidkanevil), Stac (Wah Wah 45s / Nu:Tone), Tanya Auclair (YULT), Sarina Leah (Ty / Eric Lau) and Elodie Rama (Natural Self / Hocus Pocus).”

The line-up is undeniable, and the cause truly honourable.  It’s projects like this that show the potency that music can have in making a difference, and with the majority of proceeds going to the campaign you can be assured that your contribution will be a part of it.

The album is set for digital release on June 13th, but you can peep a preview above and enjoy the FREE remix EP here.  There’s also a launch party at London’s Rich Mix tomorrow with live performances from the artists along with live art; tickets and info.
