Dash Speaks is a New York-based DJ/Producer He began rapping when he was 14 and after releasing four full length albums and three EPs, he began focusing on production and DJing. Dash Speaks holds DJ residencies at New York’s Blind Barber (Wednesday and Saturday), Botanica (Tuesdays), and The Hill (Fridays). He has shared the stage with artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Mike Posner, Talib Kweli, Theophilous London, Das Racist, Gordon Voidwell, and Kid Cudi at events like Camp Bisco, CMJ, The Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, and Governors Ball.

Dash’s production credits include work with Moguai (Mau5trap), Danny Brown (Fool’s Gold), Despot (Def Jux), NSR, Lakutis, and Das Racist among others. The first song he produced for Das Racist, “Return To Innocence”, was listed by NY Magazine as one of the ten best uncleared samples in Hip Hop as well as being acclaimed by Pitchfork, The Village Voice, and The Seattle TImes.
Champions Never Die is the first single on Dash’s upcoming release Ghosts. The album is an ode to Speaks’ musical influences and presents classic hip hop songs re-imagined via contemporary production.
