Rising UK singer/songwriter Areej shares visuals for her song “Bloodshed” taken from her forthcoming EP. The track is a hypnotic blend of jazz, neo-soul, and Areej’s unique melodic style and it’s as powerful as they come. With its mellow subtle tones and emotional edginess, Areej delivers a soul-stirring performance as she details the dynamics of being vulnerable in a very cold world. Areej says “there are more aching hearts than made visible to the naked eye. We often walk through life with a mask on because being our most honest and vulnerable self can be quite frightening, hence why we should always remember to treat people with love and kindness

The visual is directed by FuegoFilms has a gloomy and cinematic feel with its intense moody lighting and the use of black and white aesthetics.

Areej is currently working on her debut G.B.O.F EP scheduled for early next year.
