Toronto-based, Venezuelan-born recording artist and multi-instrumentalist Anzola makes his entry on our site with his new release titled “Giants.” The mid-tempo record is a blend of dreamy textures, solemn keys, solid drum grooves that take inspiration from multiple genres. The track is quite dynamic and slowly builds up as it progresses, from the swelling pads, airy synths, and heavenly stabs, he sure brings so much to the forefront to thrill listeners.

“Giants” is the precursor to his forthcoming self-produced six-track EP entitled Bodega, scheduled to drop on March 4, 2022. Anzola’s previous 2020 release, Caracas, was a six-track EP that embodied his experience of growing up in the city of Caracas

ANZOLA is a Toronto based Venezuelan-born recording artist and multi-instrumentalist, whose loop-based neo-psychedelic music incorporates elements of Instrumental Hip Hop, Electronic, Jazz, and Latin genres. Utilizing samplers, classic synths, drum machines, and live instrumentation, Anzola’s sound is groove-heavy and often depicts a laid-back landscape. Since immigrating to Canada from Venezuela in 2009, Anzola has been actively releasing music and establishing himself within Toronto’s vibrant music scene.
