Multifaceted instrumentalist/producer Alice Ivy recently released her new 12-track album Do What Makes You Happy. The genre-bending project sees her traversing a wide range of sounds with the help of luminaries such as singer BJ The Chicago Kid, the eclectic Kah-Lo, Mayer Hawthorne and others. The album’s focus track “Smile” was the last song to be included on the project and sees Alice Ivy teaming up with singer/rapper/songwriter Chloe Chavis aka chlothegod and together they deliver a wholesome summer-drenched tune that warms the heart. The production is bright, soulful and comforting while chlothegod’s agile vocal runs take audiences on an emotional journey that culminates in joy and bliss.
