Al Strong recruits Charlie Smarts, Tamisha Waden, and Mickey Freeman for his latest single titled “Work Song”, available now on digital platforms.

The 6-minute track embodies the relatable thought process of work and what feels like a continuum cycle of one step forward, one step back.  Smooth sounds of soulful jazz and striking drums accentuate the overall theme of the song. It touches on being hungry and poor, working day and night down to the bones, convictions of crimes, and profoundly speaks on breaking rocks on chain gangs.
