Emerging indie rapper Adam et al reflects on his Chicano roots in this heartfelt and insightful single titled “Posies.” Bolstered by a sparse and somewhat moody soundscape, the rapper/songwriter shares his candid thoughts on anti-racism, feelings of isolation, and self-empowerment relating to his background. The song was inspired after watching John Leguizamo’s Latin History for Morons, which made him reflect on the rise of racial tensions during the height of the lockdown.
