Rice Master Yen – Rice Collaborations 2 (Germany)

German born producer Rice Master Yen is back with the second instalment of his collaboration project ‘Rice Collaborations‘, before you get it twisted, check out some of the joints and videos from the previous edition HERE .

Following the same theme, we have a solid collection of vibrant, off kilter backdrops, obscure samples, gritty breaks and of course dope lyricism courtesy of peeps like Raashan Ahmad, 18sense, Celine and the legendary El Da Sensei amongst others. Rice Master Yen keeps it short and concise throughout the album with the longest track being close to three minutes long. The features are varied in terms of energy, style and vibe and keeps the listener longing for more but I would say this serves as a quick fix in this era where the attention span is unfortunately minute.

Rice Collaborations 2 is definitely worthy of your time. Tune in and get with the program.
