Audio It’s becoming pretty evident that Compton-bred rap sensation Kendrick Lamar is being asked to appear on just about everyone’s tracks these days. Jumping on that bandwagon (for good reason) is veteran emcee Ras Kass, who brings in K.Dot, along with ProVerb, for his new single “Focus”. The beat on this track has a super nostalgic, old school feel (sounds like something you’d hear Tupac on) while the lyrical deliveries come through fluid and strong. Bangin’ to see such young genius and experienced talent come together and collaborate.
The most incredible Ras Kass released his brand new BArmageddon mixtape this week, featuring Agallah, E-40, Kurupt, Raekwon, Snoop Dogg, Planet Asia, Crooked I, Evidence, Freeway, Saigon, Immortal Technique, Kendrick Lamar and others. The mixtape is a warm up to Ras Kass’ brand new studio album, BArmageddon (formally known as P.U.M.A.) which is expected to drop December 19th.
Kidding me. Ras Kass sans the legal troubles in the late90s/early 00s should have been crowned lyrical king of the west. Xzibit did his thing but Lyrically Rassy Kassy was UNTOUCHABLE
