Word Is Bond has been cataloguing the talents of West Yorkshire over the past year or so. After seeing the likes of HashFinger and Flame Griller blow up, now it’s the turn for Lunar C, perhaps the highest profile Yorkshire rapper at the moment. He drops his free mixtape Sewer Side Sex – his first for a while – and as you might expect from hearing his previous stuff it’s, well, dope. It gets off to a bit of a slow start in my opinion but once you get to the third track it’s straight banger after banger. One of the best UK tapes this year that’s for sure. The whole of the Sinoptic bunch are real cool dudes and it’s nice to see them get their props.
