Rapper/songwriter Kent Jones steps into the spotlight with his brand new single “BABY STEPS,” a playful look at love, lust, procrastination and the duality of human nature. Backed by the jazzy soundscape provided by Grammy-nominated IllaDaProducer, Kent Jones takes audiences on a reflective journey filled with colourful events and situations that highlight the dichotomies of life. Lines like “I show up unannounced, i don’t enunciate/I could fuck 9 catholic bitches and the nun see eight/Cause I know bitches do lie even when they do cry/You Abu Dhabi hobby is to ask why when do you buy” showcase his knack for wordplay, internal rhyme schemes and vivid storytelling.
