Illuzionary and Acco treat us to a refreshing time in “Martini Hour,” a jazz/lofi soul track that is groovy, uplifting and blissful. The track boasts dynamic instrumentation and a layered arrangement, which makes it stand out. Prolific producer Bmbu unveils the “showdown” in their latest release. The track has an ominous vibe and evokes urgency with its dark, scenic textures and crunchy drum grooves. Snarez and Axian craft a “Smoke Theory” in this brilliant collaboration featuring smoky textures with a sparse, choppy groove to close the deal. “Northbound” by Toneparo is a solemn piece comprising piano riffs and warm pads with soft drums, and it’s complemented by Nolar’s “For Nadia,” a soul-gripping piece with atmospheric pads, reverberated guitar licks and strings that come together to create a bittersweet vibe. LoPhi enters our playlist with “Meiji Jingu,” a mellow lofi piece that evokes sadness, while Kairoh‘s “Warm to you” has a sunny and bright jazzy vibe that can brighten our moods. Producers Kitsuji and Jarlofi team up for “Before It Gets Warm,” a sublime piece comprising lush guitar riffs and soft tones that create a warm ambiance. Northern Drift delivers a heartfelt and introspective vibe with “If We Get There.” DertyLee and Chill4est craft a brilliant track, “Piece of Mind,” which gets the job done with a reflective and comforting soundscape. Fabilous Beats switches the mood on the playlist with a moody tune, “Nocturnal Echoes”, while Resonant Circuits and Blue Hippo‘s “A Ray Of Light” brings out the water works with its overwhelmingly sombre and nostalgia-inducing ambiance. Berlin-based Swiss producer S. Fidelity crafts “Two Steps on the Water,” a multi-layered instrumental, as a dedication to his girlfriend. The track has a plucky synth, pulsating bass-driven grove and warm textures that evoke warm feelings. He also delivers some melodic vocal runs that provide an additional flavour to the track. The beautiful countries of Italy and Spain connect via b e r t h and Beteulan, respectively, as they team up for “The Old Country,” a brilliant nostalgia-inducing piece ripe with soft tones, smooth pulsating bass-driven drums and an atmospheric texture that is blissful and relaxing.

Auckland-based music producer Inside Trading and UK DJ Mista Ed join forces for “Just 4 U.” The track has a contemporary feel with its bright keys, plucky textures and groove, which all come together to evoke feelings of summer, while Mista Ed cuts up some classic hip-hop records into the mix.

 

El-Matic‘s latest release, ” Tides” takes listeners on an emotional journey to the past.
