Thought I’d bring back a classic piece of Hip-Hop film making with Spike Jonze’s 1999 documentary What’s Up Fatlip?. The film comes in the form of a series of interviews with Fatlip (formerly of The Pharcyde) recorded while Spike followed him around over a few days while shooting for his video at the time.
A humbling insight to the world of Fatlip, speaking on the rise and fall of The Pharcyde, his general opinions on 90’s Hip-Hop in retrospect and some funny-ass stories for good measure.

That was great.
I’d rather listen to a humble Fatlip rap about pulling a tranny, than listen to a dick covered in jewellery rap about money any day.
