3AM

The UK-based duo of Astro Blacksmith and Koncise caught our ears with their retro-styled hip-hop fused with contemporary elements. They recently teamed up for a full-length collaboration and we got a couple of cuts to rock to.

The first cut “3AM” has a smooth, reflective vibe that sounds like a scene from an 80s flick. It’s very soothing and relaxing while we get to hear some insightful lyrics from Astro Blacksmith who engulfs the beat with his commanding and calm performance.

The second cut ” Precision” is a bass-driven boom-bap jam ripe with a crisp drum arrangement, lush textures, Dj scratches, and of course a vivid lyrical discourse that displays originality and relatability.
