LA-based by way of Saint Louis multi-talented act who goes by the moniker Eman8 makes his way to our site with his brand new project titled ‘Emanate’. The project brings a wide array of styles and sounds together as we get to hear a smooth fusion of hip-hop, soul, ska, electronic, & pop music laced with Eman8’s unique vocals and songwriting style.  ‘Emanate’ starts off with a vibrant opener titled “Stir” and showcases Eman8’s lighthearted approach and catchy melodies over a trap/jazz-infused backdrop.  The following joint “Amen” has a more solemn Gospel feel with its deep organs and alluring textures which build into a rousing chorus where Eman8 details the elements of love, religion and the eternal human factor that either takes us closer or further away from God. Tracks like “Reeses pieces” sees him showing his weakness for the ladies while “Grateful” has a more reflective feel with its island vibes laced with anthemic horns on the chorus.

At 8 tracks deep, ‘Emanate’ doesn’t lack but its chock full of vibrant, colorful sounds augmented by Eman8’s joyous and spirited demeanor. Hit the play button and enjoy it.

Eman8’s name comes from his Jamaican middle name “Emanate” which means to “come forth”.
