Jökull Logi – Glitter.

Jazz hip hop producer who goes by the moniker Jökull Logi drops a solid tune called “Glitter” for our listening pleasure. The vibe he ushers in is very soothing and nostalgic. This is pure soul from start to finish

Raised in Stokkseyri but currently based in Reykjavík, his first EP album, In Wedding, last summer. The album features saxophone player Sölvi Kolbeinsson on the tracks “Oldsmobile” and “Conversations”. Jökull Logi is currently working on a new album and recently released the first single from it, “Glitter“.

Pheem – Back Stabbers (Old DAT’s).

Pheem shows us just how he gets down behind the boards on his new track “Back Stabbers (Old DAT’s)”. He has a knack for layering samples and use of smooth neck snapping drums to match.
“Back Stabbers (Old DAT’s)” is taken from his new beat tape ‘Producers Getting Coffee and Donuts Season 1: A J Dilla Tribute Beat Tape’. The project is a homage to the late great J Dilla.

Pittsburgh, PA based genre bending producer Headphone Activist aims to raise our consciousness on his new banger titled “Elevate”.He kicks off with a cinematic synth and builds it into a rousing beat laced by a constant vocal screaming Elevate.
