“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” That saying has never been more applicable to New York artist Prince Harvey who, after having suffered one laptop breaking and a second being stolen, spent four months using Soho’s Apple Store and a mic in a demo laptop to record his new album Prince Harvey At The Apple Store: SoHo (or PHATASS for short). Speaking on it Harvey said “It wasn’t my plan to record this at the Apple Store… New York is expensive. I couldn’t just buy another laptop. I just thought, ‘I’m going to die before anyone knows I’m hot.'”

Fair play to the dude, this takes some determination – although he’s not the only one to have recorded at the Apple Store, just look at this guyPHATASS is out on the 26th of July, and you can read more about the store here.
