(02/28): Los Angeles will be paying homage to Nujabes!

Thursday marked six years since Jun Seba, better known as Nujabes, received his wings. The world has lost another soulful producer from Japan. He has been compared to the likes of J Dilla – from the soulful sounds he brings forth, to them even sharing the same birth date and leaving earth in the same month. No one knew what happened to Jun until friend and longtime collaborator released put out released a statement on his blog. Seba’s life has been celebrated all over the world, including here in the U.S., thanks to all of the artists he worked with.

Sunday night, Los Angeles will get the opportunity to share in the celebration of Nujabes life at the Roxy Theatre. The doors open at 7pm; show starts at 8pm. Unfortunately the tickets are sold out online, but I bet you they will be selling them at the door.
