I was asked to compile a list of my favourite albums for the music review account Foodsic. I wasn’t planning on doing a countdown show this year. I was just going to do a mixset of some of my favourite tunes of the year, but I am glad I was asked because looking back, 2023 was a great year for underground Hip Hop.

I don’t want to give you any spoilers so I am not posting a tracklist here right now. I hope you can enjoy the countdown and maybe discover some new music. The tracklist will be posted on Instagram later this week.

I love looking at people’s lists and sometime find projects that went under my radar. Let me know if you agree with my list or if you think I’ve missed anything. I’d love to hear from you.
