Gone Wallace is a Philly based emcee I stumbled upon recently, his latest work is a three track ep titled ‘Summer Tour 2 EP which obviously is a sequel to a previously released project of the same name. Gone Wallace’s style is laid back, introspective (to some degree), soulful and nostalgic. This is a pretty solid effort if you asked me even though he could have covered more subject matter given the short span he still gives us a hint of what he is all about.  lastly his flow reminds me of Most Wanted– a rap duo that used to roll with Pras back in the day.

Anyway tune in and get with the program.

Gone Wallace has an old school style mixed with a future sound. With his use of soulful samples and fan boy rhetoric, Gone discusses current world issues and future dreams.

Summer Tour 2, Gone Wallace’s eighth independent project, is the much anticipated follow up to Gone’s first Summer Tour (EP). This Summertime-themed extended play only further exemplifies the soulful warmth that the summer is known for. Gone uses this three track effort to captivate listeners with culturally significant expression and nostalgia – inducing references. With the help of production by Double A, Myrd Schenk and Kelly Portis, Summer Tour 2 becomes a brief, engineered escape from the strain of everyday life and urges its listeners to find their beach wherever it may be.
