Ívar Sveinbjörn Schram (Born May 9th, 1985), better known by his stage name IMMO, is an Icelandic rapper, university student and former Icelandic wrestling champion. He is one of the most financially successful broke people in Iceland, having a net worth of one ipad, thirty-five pairs of sneakers and an abundance of flows. He is consistently ranked as one of his brother‘s favorite rappers and his mother has often been quoted saying, „he‘s one of the few rappers that I don‘t hate.“ IMMO is the co-founder of the Icelandic record label Low Key Records and he is critically acclaimed for his colorful black and white videos.
IMMO is currently working on his debut solo album, which is entirely produced by his friend and long-time collaborator Fonetik Simbol. The album features many songs that give the listener an intimate look into IMMO‘s personal life, while maintaining a sense of humor. IMMO‘s style of music is mainly predicated on classic Hip-Hop beats and his lyrics are simple yet picturesque: „I think of my lyrics as these vivid photgraphs that transport the listener into the emotional world that I‘m inhabiting at each time with each song.“ Look out for the debut album scheduled to be released in 2012.
