Underground stalwart Kil Ripkin takes us deep into a whole new level of thought on his latest single titled “Chaos Effect”. The mid tempo, boom bap cut is a potent sociological dose of a reality check. He dwells on several topics such as urban decay, the imbalance in the justice system, the unconscious programming many of us receive from controlled media and much more. This is the first leak from the forthcoming full-length album M.O.R. (Medulla Oblongata Rap) to be released on February 9th via Torae’s (Barrel Brothers, Revolt TV, SiriusXM) Internal Affairs Records (in association with Soulspazm).

Speaking on the album Kil said “I’ve been an emcee my whole life and I’ve been a teacher my entire career. A few years ago I was listening to this lecture about the Medulla Oblongata, which is part of the brain that is known as the ‘mouth of God.’ All ideas and thoughts are said to originate from there. I’m also a Grand Sheik within the Moorish Science Temple Of America which is my faith and my science. The combination of the teachings from the lecture and the temple really inspired me to balance knowledge and entertainment.”
