Los Angeles-based music artist Eriel Indigo teams up with Kevn Blvk for  “Can The Patriarchy Die Now,” an unapologetic rant against the powers that be and the world’s state of affairs. Over a hard-hitting experimental soundscape comprising dark cinematic textures, and soaring synths, Indigo bears her thoughts on wax as she breaks down the status quo with forward-thinking ideas while imploring audiences to do the same by taking action.

 

 

Dephree – “Wish I Was A Player”.

 

Rapper/activist Dephree and Will Woodland unveil the new single “Wish I Was A Player,” a playful but uplifting track dedicated to that special someone. Over a bright summery soundscape, he pours adulations on his significant other while reminding her of his faithfulness to their love.

 

Kidd Dryden – “Life We Chose”.

 

Kidd Dryden‘s “Life We Chose” is a heartfelt tune that looks at one’s struggles and implores audiences that there is always a ray of hope no matter how tough it is. Dryden wrote the song during a battle with Colon cancer, which he beat so in a way the song is also a celebratory piece for anyone who has overcome life-threatening struggles.

 

 

 

Bad Habbits – “The Testaments”

New-Jersey-based Bad Habbits unveils “The Testaments,” a hard-hitting and poignant piece that dives into the current state of affairs of mankind and the never-ending challenges we all have to rise up to and overcome.

 

Rudy G – “Rise” (feat. GLC)

Illinois-based hip-hop producer Rudy G teams up with fellow Chi-town artist GLC for “Rise.” The piano-laden track has a Gospel-soul vibe and sees GLC reflecting on his journey as a man in an unforgiving world where nothing is promised.

 

 

Sose the Ghost – “I See Monsters“.

 

Bronx, NY emcee Sose the Ghost dives into the dynamics of life in the urban setting in “I See Monsters.” The track has a dark and cinematic feel with punchy drums but Sose is more than ready with his commanding flow and engaging lyricism.

 

 

 

Eyedeal Bayano – “Trabajo”

 

US-based rapper Eyedeal Bayano pays homage to his Panamanian roots in “Trabajo.” The track comprises rich soulful samples with sublime vibes and a mellow groove underpinned by a laidback flow laced with Spanish and vivid storytelling.

 

 

 

 

Moka Only – “DADADOO”.

Legendary rapper Moka Only drops off his new single “DADADOO” lifted from his forthcoming album Arbutus Canyon. The track serves as a taste of what to expect from Moka as he hits us with a barrage of  engaging rhyme schemes with smooth flows to boot. Arbutus Canyon will be released via URBNET on November 15, 2024.

Rising R&B/Soul and Pop artist, songwriter and producer Romy Dya returns to our playlist with “Relax your mind.” The self-produced track explores the type of love she wants and how she wants to experience it. Armed with her distinct expressive vocal runs and knack for lucid songwriting Romy Dya delivers a stunning performance ripe with raw emotions.

Singer/songwriter Ana Jordyn caught our ears with “Sumthin,” a futuristic neo-soul piece that showcases her vocal range and unique style.

Pacific Coast, California-based rapper/producer SpenDoe represents the coast in the aptly titled track “West Up.” The self-produced track comprises plucky synths, a prevalent West-Coast-styled bass line and thumping drums and sees SpenDoe detailing his love for the Golden State with engaging rhymes.

Pawtucket, Rhode Island-based producer-rapper Bobby Thibs teams up with fellow artists OS! and Lee McAdams for this heartfelt single “HELP!” The track has a solemn feel and is underpinned by reflective lyrics that audiences can relate to.

 

paulvitesse! – “fairplay”.

French rapper paulvitesse! steps up to bat with his new single “fairplay,” an anthemic piece that comprises dark and moody textures, and choral vocals with punchy drums. here, the rapper explores the dynamics of vulnerability, reflection and perplexity. “fairplay” is taken from his new EP entitled symptômes.

 

 

 

C.G. the Producer x Revalation x MKDeL x Lateb – Lunar Stroll prod. by C.G. the Producer”.

New Jersey-based producer C.G. the Producer teams up with Boston natives Revalation, MKDeL and Lateb for his new single “Lunar Stroll.” The inspirational track delves into the artist’s different coping mechanisms and how they find solace in the never-ending madness.

caluca‘s “SKINFADE” dives into the delicate topic of self-growth and finding one’s true purpose. The rapper reflects on his past, his relationships and trajectory as he finds his true North and unfortunately he has to walk that path by himself to fulfil his destiny.

 

 

Noma – “Paradise”.

 

Dutch artist Noma and Eli88 team up for “Paradise,” a bright and plucky track that is predicated on the good times.

 

Nemo Nebbia – “NÉOPRÈNE”.

French rapper/songwriter Nemo Nebbia debuts on our playlist with “NÉOPRÈNE” taken from his forthcoming 6-track EP Soleil Bleu. The track is a reflective tune comprising punchy drums, soulful samples and an expressive vocal performance ripe with relatable rhymes delivered in French.

Kil Ripkin and Jah Freedom pay homage to the legendary NY group Gangstarr in this anthemic tune “World Premier.” The track produced by Jah Freedom has a cinematic texture with punchy drums while Kil Ripkin’s wordplay anduse of several Gangstarr references help bring the track home. JaRon Marshall and Jadanaë team up for “A Win Is A Win,” a reflective and celebratory anthem for women who have survived the odds in this patriarchal society. Nvy610 – “IDK”.

Nvy610 pours his broken heart on wax in his new release “IDK.” The track comprises vocal samples, warm strings and soft grooves and sees the rising rapper in his element detailing his feelings with a no-holds-barred demeanour.

 

AKA Block – “Ring Around Her Finger”

 

Dutch R&B artist-producer AKA Block is back with a new single “Ring Around Her Finger.” The self-produced track is a concept track that dives into being attracted to people who are not emotionally available and attainable. The track is a smooth blend of neo-soul, R&B with a subtle reggae rhythm foundation underpinned by AKA Block’s soothing melodic runs and metaphor-driven songwriting. He pours his heart on wax as he reflects on being stuck in a repeating cycle of fleeting love. The song is the second single from his upcoming EP, The Spider Kissed The Fly.
