T. L. Williams is lost in sober reflections in his new single “Thinking About You.” The heartfelt track dives into the concept of that one who got away and we see the singer looking back in a what-if scenario as the memory ofnthat special someone continues to linger on long after she has left.

Flawless402 sounds fearless and unapologetic as she states her mind clearly, reminding black folks to stand up and take their place beyond the larger community to effect the right change.

“HEADOWN Freestyle” is a lyrical exercise of some sort from emerging rapper Trippij. Bolstered by a soulful soundscape comprising rich guitar licks and groovy drums, the rapper looks within as he sources for self-actualization and acceptance of what makes him unique.
Errol Eats Everything – “NRG”
Errol Eats Everything‘s “NRG” is a hard-hitting piece that sees the rapper giving props to a number of black-populated cities and the characters who make the locations lively and unique. Armed with his commanding and dynamic flow, he pays tribute to the people who laid the foundation before him.
Yossi – “Ride It”.
London-based musician/spoken word artist Yossi enters our playlist with “Ride It” which sees him teaming with ErbalTee. The result is a thoughtful and somewhat edgy tune that explores the inner psyche.
KeShawn Sensei – “HYPEBEAST”.
KeShawn Sensei embodies the spirit of the “HYPEBEAST” in his latest release. The track has a moody and ominous soundscape that works perfectly with the rapper’s no-holds-barred flow and off-kilter rhyme schemes.
Louis Davis, Jr. x G.Rob Jamz – “COFFEE BEAN”
“COFFEE BEAN” is a smooth (no pun intended) jam from Louis Davis, Jr. and G.Rob Jamz who remind us that resilience and diligence in hard work go a long way.
Omega Dolla – “Numbers”.
South Jamaica, Queen-based rapper Omega Dolla showcase his verbal skills in his new single “Numbers.” The soulful track flips a classic sample and sets the backdrop with an emotive vibe that Omega Dolla uses to his advantage. From his sharp wit, off-kilter wordplay and smooth flow, the rapper shows us why he got next.
Danny Ali x TOPE x Cin – “CAN’T STOP”
Rapper Danny Ali, producer Tope and CIN unveil their new collaboration “CAN’T STOP.” The Neptunes-inspired track has elements of the famed production duo’s aesthetics. From the 4 bar intro, lush synths and crips guitar licks and snapping drum grooves.
Kuf Knotz x Christine Elise – “Inner G”.
MC/ Poet/ Songwriter Kuf Knotz‘s new release titled “Inner G” is a posse cut featuring instrumentalist Christine Elise, and rappers Shad and Boogieman Dela. The result is an insightful and reflective track that explores how modern life has kept us on the move without recourse to sit back and smell the proverbial roses. This is the third and final double single to be issued in advance of their self-released 4th album Grow, which is due for release in March 2025.
Akete – “Cold (Opposite)” ft. SOWL prod. by Fendi Pendergrass
Instrumentalist/mc Akete Akete (AKA Té) drops new song “Cold (Opposite)” featuring SOWL. Backed by the sublime soundscape from Fendi Pendergrass, the rapper delivers fiery bars from start to finish. Watch the video here.
DJ Raw B – “Flowing featuring” Keat
Veteran California-based Hip-Hop DJ, Music Producer and TV/Radio Producer DJ Raw B enters our playlist with the new single “Flowing featuring” Keat. The production is dark, cinematic and punchy and Keat’s distinct flow and expressive bars take the cake.
Maxx Wright – “Eulogy”
Maxx Wright is a Texas-based artist who brings his distinctive and expressive style to the forefront. Anchored on his life experiences, his latest song “Eulogy” dives into loss and the difficulties in processing the feelings of death. The soundscape has a dark and ominous vibe and it fits the delicate topic.
El killo 2.0 -“Madre”.
El killo 2.0 pays homage to the mothers in “Madre.” The production is cinematic and oozes raw adrenaline but the lyrics are heartfelt and come from the heart as he explores the connection between sons and their mothers.
